This 3rd party retailer is a prime example of exactly what you DON’T want to do when trying to run a honest business representing a multibillion dollar brand such as Verizon.

I want to tell you a little about this company. This company (MAS CORP) is a 3rd party retailer selling refurbished phones as if they are new. They train their staff to lie to customers, they train their staff to hit people with unneeded fees with “DIC” (DEVICE INANITION FEES) basically charging you $30 dollars to have me perform a basic backup through iTunes for you. Takes about 30-60 min depending on how much storage you have on your phone. The managers asked me if I gave the customers the “dic” fee and they joked around a lot about it. I also in my time being employed at the Hamilton location, I saw MANY PPI issues (PERSONAL PRIVATE INFORMATION) meaning some men would take girls phones, go through their pictures and save what they wanted onto the computers.

How do I know this? I witnessed it with my own eyes. They thought it was funny. Highly illegal if I may add. There would be customers information on posted notes everywhere, phone numbers, names and PINS to their accounts. These stores (ALL FIVE LOCATIONS) keep track of all your PINS as well, so they can enter your account without your knowledge and edit it if they lied to you or over promised. Or maybe even to sign a contract for you. All PPI ISSUES. I watched two employees sign contracts for customers, watched employees talk badly about the customer when they left the store and seen employees simply not care about their jobs.

If anyone needs more information from me, because this is just the tip of the ice burg, please feel free to contact me. I’ll glad tell you more of why I believe this company shouldn’t be in business. It’s already on its way out, just a matter of time.

Gabe was such a pleasure to deal with! Very knowledgeable, attentive, patient and overall professional! It’s nice to do business with a sale representatives that have AWESOME attitudes. :-) #Happy and satisfied customer

My best advice for anyone is to GO TO A CORPORATE VERIZON STORE, you may have to wait in line or for an appointment but you will get a lot better customer service and they actually follow laws and regulations. It's not the employees fault that their employer doesn't train them, doesn't care at all about their wellbeing and offer little to no benefits.

Can you imagine your manager coming to you and asking you to commit fraud? Can you imagine being fired because you denied to commit a crime at your job? Well that’s what took place with me. I was told that “I didn’t fit the culture here at MAS CORP” and guess what? They’re right, I’m not willing to commit crimes, violate my clients privacy and lie about the products I sell to them.

See because I understand the difference between world class customer service from my 2 and a half year experience at a Microsoft Store. I know how you’re supposed to treat customers, I know what PPI is, I understand that you never lie to someone to sell a product. For me I have to believe in the product I’m selling and honestly overcome objections with factual information.

Please contact the Hamilton Store if you’re worried about your personal information, if you’re a female you should also be concerned that your personal pictures may be being saved to hard drives of the work computers. I can even bet all five locations would fail an actual audit.

Good luck MAS CORP, you’ll need it.

Also just a heads up, they do over charge you for accessories, screen protectors, cases and even the sad excuse for headphones they have in stock.

Go to Craig! Super nice guy, great customer service and great deals! Finally bought my iPad mini from him after years of wanting one.

In the short two months I endured this for, I also had one of my managers ask me in the (Brick NJ location) and my coworkers to help him “fix” a discrepancy with a register. I was told “When the register is short all employees have to give $8 towards the discrepancy”
