Just an interesting note as well, there is a sign on the door that asks the customers not to compare the store to E-bay or Amazon. While in the store, the owner told me he sells stuff on Ebay. Sooooooo.....?
I visited the store earlier today and I was PLEASANTLY surprised to find such a really good large variety of vintage games and consoles and all different types of electronics! it's an impressive shop thats well organized and well kept. I would highly recommend this place to ANY and ALL of my friends, family and acquaintances!!!!
I stopped into this store the other day with my step-son after calling to make sure they were open. I had gone twice before and they were closed during business hours. I found their items to be incredibly over-priced. I totally understand mark-ups are to be expected in order to stay in business but this level of mark ups are not good for business at all. I didn't buy a thing.
Visited the Rt 1 Lawrenceville store. Lots of inventory, new and used. Over priced. The owner needs to have better manners or learn communication skills. While in the store, he was yelling at a customer on the phone to hurry up with their question. Website states he purchases items. I called prior to packing up my car and driving all the way there to hear him say he has enough of the same system. After he asked how much I wanted, I stated the amount and then lowered the amount. What was the point?! Then he thought I would really purchase a $70 used WII from him that he probably bought from some poor soul for $10. No Thanks.
I went to this store once and will never go back. He has just about everything in the store but all of it is way overpriced. He also re-seals games and tries to sell them as new. Note to owner: once the factory wrapper has been removed, the item is USED. Also, someone I know was offered a job there. They came in on the first day and work about 8 hours. The owner paid this person $30 and had them sign sonthing saying they were paid and would be paid more later. Then never called them again. Total scam. Considering reporting him to the better business bureau. SHOP ELSWHERE
Have been to this store a few times as I am always looking to find used games from when I was a kid. Bought a couple used controllers once, and unfortunately while they had a ton of stock most of the controllers were in terrible condition with joy sticks chewed off and wires fraying everywhere. I was lucky to find a couple that were in reasonable enough condition. Unfortunately I don't think I would ever buy anything from there again. While the collection of games is amazing to look at, the prices are unbelievably high. It's a shame as the store has an amazing selection.
