I have bought from this store a number of times. Mostly the store experience has been good, and the sales people are helpful. But recently I had an experience that was not so good. I bought a pair of top-of-the-line running shoes. The salesman suggested I also buy a pair of premium insoles -- not the cheap kind -- the $30 kind. I had no experience with the product and wasn't sure I needed them, but he said I could bring them back within 30 days if I wasn't satisfied. I wore them once but didn't like the feel. So I bought them back (boxed up in the original packaging, in the original bag, with sales receipt, within 30 days). But the store manager was less-than-friendly, and acted like she was doing me a favor. She said she'd just do it this once, but really I should be contacting the manufacturer (translation: we don't actually stand behind what we sell and good luck getting your money back). The problem for her seemed to be that I had worn the insoles. (How else would I know whether I was "satisfied" with the product of not?). "It's a health issue. I don't know where these have been," she said. I'm not sure what this had to do with anything. It's like she was complaining that she wouldn't be able to resell the product, or maybe that handling it presented some sort of risk to her staff. (Again, the product was in the original package and bag. It wasn't like I was handing her a pair of sweat-stained insoles.) Then she wanted name, address, phone number. (I've never had a store ask for personal information just to process a refund. She already had my credit card info.) She DID process the refund, which is why I give them two stars instead of none. But it wasn't a pleasant experience. WARNING: returning merchandise to this store might be a HASSLE. Do NOT believe what their sales people tell you about being able to return a product if you don't like it. I might shop at this store again if the price is right, but I will NEVER AGAIN buy anything extra on a sales person's recommendation.
