We came here to have our first dance choreographed 3 months before our wedding. As a same sex couple we weren't sure if this studio would be able to meet our needs. We felt like we belonged right from the start. Our first dance was wonderful and all of the other dances that we learned helped us dance for 4hrs of our reception. The teachers are immensely talented and have fantastic personalities. We NEVER felt pressured to sign up for more lessons, but ended up signing up for a year of lessons after the wedding. The group classes are broken down into small manageable chunks and there is a practice party after each beginner group class. Even when one moves to more technical and intensive steps, the teachers are there to encourage, teach and laugh with you. The ability to take unlimited group classes along with the private lessons, really lets one decide how much he/she wants to dance each week. So, if you are looking for something fun, challenging, and healthy, call and schedule an intro lesson. Gay, straight, single, or couples, all are welcome to enjoy dance at this wonderful studio!

What a wonderful place to learn and/or perfect ballroom and latin dancing! Excellent instructors in a great environment :)

When I walked into the studio for the first time, I wanted to learn 2 dances. I figured I’d be gone in a few months. Well, 2 dances turned into 15 and a few months turned into 5 years. I have made some great friendships- the other students are so helpful and supportive and are genuinely happy to see you succeed. The teachers are skilled, professional and know how to bring out the best in each student. Even though you have your assigned teachers, they are all your teachers- advising and teaching each time they dance with you, whether it be in a group lesson, private lesson, or practice.

I grew up in a very old fashioned home. No one over and never was allowed out. We didn't hug, kiss or talk about emotions/problems. So when I needed to find myself because this is not who I am, I decided to take a chance and do something out of my comfort zone. I was always interested in dancing but didn't know there was more to this studio than meets the eye. I found a place where I can become comfortable touching another person in a controlled setting and learn more about socializing, neither are easy for me. They actually put that as a focus for me to learn in the beginning. So as much it was learning how to dance, it became the start of an environment that brought more of me out than anything. I went from a very quiet shy girl who sat in the corner to the girl who runs yo the middle of the room. So if you're looking for something different to do or becoming someone else, you can't go wrong with Arthur Murray.

The first time I went to the studio as a guest of my son who was taking lessons at that time. There was a drawing and I won two free lessons with an instructor. I enjoyed it so much so I signed up for 4 weekly private lessons and then after one month signed up for 24 private lessons and then after that for 80 lessons and now I'm up to 100 lessons with 2 different teachers. It was the best thing I could do for my mental and physical health at that time. I have made many friends and even went to Cancun for a competition in January 2015. So after 4 1/2 years of taking private lessons and going to group classes and getting to the Bronze 4 level I hope to continue for as long as I can.
