My children and I was homeless and out of luck ... There seemed to be NO HELP FOR A MAN WITH CHILDREN! But thanks to Mrs. Brenda and the excellent staff at HOME FRONT gave me a clean place to lay out heads. "I'm still in shock..." But I'm sooo greatful for them.

I reside in one of the houses that they own. It's an older home, but it's beautiful. It was built in 1905 and had original hardwood floors. The house was a convent for nuns starting sometime circa 1940. It more recently was a home for pregnant homeless women ran by Homefront. The social services agency still owns it, but now the Rescue Mission of Trenton manages it. There are 4 of us living there. The criteria for residence is chronic homelessness defined by one or more years homeless and a mental and/physical disability and/or an alcohol or substance addiction. Homefront provides numerous services to Mercer County residents. I am personally grateful for how much this county does to help people. God bless them!
Staff is very nice and caring to both myself & my boyfriend. Ive only been there once & they made us feel very comfortable.
