I like to support local business and took my shih-tzu to this place 3 times. I tried to give it a chance, but the experience was worse with each visit. The owner is an older woman who seems to know a lot about dogs, but she's clearly disorganized. Her shop looks like it's bound to be featured on 'Hoarders,' but "Hey," I thought, "Let's not judge a book by its cover." She took us without an appt and said she'd be done in a couple hours (too good to be true). Four hours later... she called me to "double check" what kind of cut to give my dog. Two hours after that, I picked him up. Every time I have gone into that place, she was chatting on speakerphone (usually complaining to the person on the other end about the dog she was working on). She charged me $75 and my dog smelled worse than when I dropped him off. At home, he seemed anxious and was hiding under the table. I discovered cuts on his ear, eyelid and groin. Poor little guy! Sorry Curry Corner, I have to take my pooch somewhere cleaner, where he's treated well, in a timely fashion and for a fair price.
My dog was kept for far too long, had some small scuffs and smelled worse than when he was brought in. I will not be returning.
