I would give this place 4 stars if it wasn't for a very particular delivery driver I had from this place. The food is awesome, don't get me wrong. I live about 20 minutes from this place, and honestly, was surprised myself when I saw that they delivered to where I lived. Ordered from them several times and food was pretty prompt for being 20 minutes away and was still pretty decent and hadn't started to get soggy or whatever. I was greeted 2 or 3 times by a pleasant black girl who was always super friendly. The 3rd or 4th time I ordered from this place, it was about 5:20 on a Friday. 6:00 rolls around. 7:00. I call the restaurant. They say the guy is on the way. The guy didn't show up until 7:45, 2 and a half hours after I placed my order. I guess the guy got a call from his manager because he came up, irate, and asked "Do you know how far away we are?" with a nasty attitude. I'm not one to back down, but the fact that a delivery driver was snapping at me sort of caught me off guard. I sort of looked at him, eyebrow raised and said, "You're 11 miles away. I would assume no more than 30 minutes away..." to which he replied, "No, we're further," promptly turned around and left. Like alright, bud. It's a Friday. I get it. I'm sure you have orders out of your ass. I'm aware Friday rush hour is the worst rush hour day. But TWO AND A HALF HOURS? By then we didn't even want the food, and all we had simply done was called to ask where the food was at. Like I'm sorry, it does not take 2 and a half hours to prepare 2 fat sandwiches and drive 11 miles, even if it was Friday rush hour. And the fact that you snapped at me? Even when I left you about a 25% tip, conscious of the fact you had a bit of a drive? I'm also away you probably took Route 1 North most of the way, which is about 1/4 as bad as the southbound side. I've gotten home from a similar distance in 20 minutes at PEAK Friday rush hour. We haven't ordered from the place since. And the food was damn good, too. Sorry, don't have delivery drivers that don't like to drive. However, he does have a good point to some degree. This place shouldn't be delivering that far if they can't handle it. Wonder how that delivery girl handled it so much more easily. Guess we'll never know. Might give this place another try in the future, but I doubt it.
Placed an order on Grub hub for a basic small salad and 8 wings. Grubhub said delivery by 12:50. Called them at 1:20 because I still didn't have food and at this point was figuring if it ever did arrive, the wings would be cold. On the phone I was told they're short a driver today but it's on the way. Okay, so if you're short staffed why wouldn't you find a way to let your online customers know? Instead of nonchalantly answering the phone and making it obvious that you think it's no big deal that my food is arriving 40 minutes late at this point, who knows when it's actually going to get here. Come on. It's a salad and wings. I know they don't take that long to make.
Let me start by saying the food is delish, however the guy that answered the phone tonight was anything but helpful or courteous. Grubhub for whatever reason put delivery to an address I've never lived at before, so I called to inform him so my order could be delivered to the correct place. He acted highly annoyed that I was even calling. I'm not sure I'll be ordering there again purely based on his poor customer service and attitude.
Poor customer service from older gentleman at register. No greeting, didn't ask what we wanted to order....nothing! Veal Parmigiana sandwich was very good. Calamari had little taste.
I love this place! He atmosphere is awesome, along with all the staff. I work across the street, and I love eating here and visiting! They make you feel like family! Love fedelos!
